my posts to forums disappear. why?

It’s bizarre. I’ll type in a query or comment, like this one, and when I hit “send post” the page refreshes and shows the comment. But when I go to the whole list of posts in the forum, mine isn’t there. Sometimes it appears hours later. Sometimes it doesn’t. Either way, it doesn’t get answered. What’s going on? Is it something I’m doing?

I use Firefox 1.5.0.9, running on a Fedora Core 3 system. I do have noscript, but this site is allowed.

Serveral times a day I go through the spam traps and release all the valid stuff.
