• A couple of days ago I finally finished customizing my sidebar to be exactly the way I wanted it. I included a link to my photo gallery at zenphoto and put up 3 posts.

Today, those posts have disppared and do not appear anywhere in my WordPress. Some of the links have disappeared from the side bar, and old link I had previously deleted have come back. Typing in the address of my photo gallery gives me this – MySQL Query ( SELECT *, (date + 0) AS date FROM photoalbums WHERE folder=’july’ LIMIT 1; ) Failed. Error: Table ‘debsblog.photoalbums’ doesn’t exist.

The side bar itself though, has not reverter back to the way it was before I customized it.

It was fine since Sunday night, all of Monday and Tuesday morning. Now its gone.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

  • If it can’t find that table, it’s likely your database took a hit.

Contact your host with that error.

Are you hosted by GoDaddy? I am, and I have exactly the same problem. I just called them and they are aware of the issue and working on it, they expect it to be resolved by tommorrow, but they guy didn’t know more than that. Also, no answer as to whether our data will be recovered.

Thanks Yosemite. Marker – I just got off the phone with GoDaddy too and got the same info as you did. Mystery solved.

Same thing happened to me, although I had called GoDaddy earlier this morning and they hadn’t heard of the problem yet. Glad to know it’s not just me. I was freaking out this morning wondering where my posts/changes went.

Welcome. Can you mark this resolved then?

The content has magically reappeared on my page. It appears that it might be officially sorted out on godaddy’s end.

    oooOOOoooOOOooo

I saw in another thread here someone else mentioned Godaddy was having db issues today.
