My Posts aren't Showing On Homepage

    [Moved from Your WordPress which is NOT a support forum.]

    Please i imported my posts from my blogger blog into my wordpress site http://www.eagleforts.com.. after that, the full posts don’t show on the homepage except for the title. Please any help.

    Your theme may be using <?php the_excerpt();?> instead of <?php the_content();?> in its template files. Try creating a child theme, editing the relevant template file(s) in your child and replacing <?php the_excerpt();?> with <?php the_content();?>

    Please which of the template exactly should i do the editing? categoty (category.php) or page template (page.php). I’v successfully created the child theme after getting some help on how to do it. Actually new to WordPress.

    In most themes, the index.php template file controls your main posts page.

    Well i just used find box (control f) to search the two codes in the index.php but it aint there. is there no other way to correct this, and please any help with why my footer is showing halfway at the center instead of the bottom.
