I had my own adjustments on the old AIOSEO panel. It looks like your new update clearly reset those settings that I had trusted for years. I just checked Google SERP’s and noticed that my site title and descriptions completely changed. This is unfair and nonsense. Please give back my old trusted settings.

The updates you make (possibly) to switch users to the paid version of your program and breaking old user settings are completely unethical.
I can confirm that my position for specific search terms collapsed following the Jan 6th update. Google are now crawling my website every 2 days, if that. And before, they were crawling on average twice a day. What is going on? What did you delete/change in 4.0.12 that would cause certain terms not to perform as well, and stop regular crawling?
While I am not a Pro user, I suggest paying Pro users to sue the company, this is simply a breach of agreement. One of the biggest letdowns in WordPress plugin history, a total disaster.
I’ve simply reverted back to version 3.7.1 and looking for a new alternative,.
Hey @semak77,
That definitely shouldn’t have happened. I can assure you that all of your old data is still there on your website.
If you’d like to get this sorted, we can work with you on this. Please reach out to us at https://aioseo.com/contact/. You can click the “Complete a Form” button on that page and ask for me specifically to handle your ticket.
@harryshepherdwork we didn’t make any significant changes to term functionality in 4.0.12. From AIOSEO’s perspective, nothing should have changed. Feel free to also reach out to us via the URL below (or simply post your website’s URL here) and I’ll be happy to take a look for you to see if anything looks off.

Has anyone seen thier website search results go back to normal?
My search results for my website have vanished with this plugin
How do I fix this problem and get my website back on google,
@kingtom2021 we’ll be happy to look into this if you create a separate thread.
Same issues here.
Homepage title and description changed by itself after a recent update.
Post, custom post type, archive and pages meta data completely reset.
Many hours of work gone down the drain with this.
And not to talk about the potential positions lost in Google. I’m just hoping not all the changes are indexed yet until I remove your plugin and change it to Yoast.
Trusted your plugin and been a user for many years, even recommended it for many sites but sorry, this is totally unacceptable. Releases with this kind of bugs shouldn’t be pushed live and destroy thousands of websites.
@vegashero that definitely shouldn’t have happened. Can you reach out to us here? You can click the “Submit a Form” button and tell us you were referred on this page – https://aioseo.com/contact/. Your SEO data isn’t lost so in case something went wrong, we can still restore all your data for you.

You keep saying on all posts that “it shouldn’t have happened”. But it did and so did with others.
It is also not an isolated incident, I saw the same thing on 5 of my sites on 4 different hosting.
I reverted all to version 3.7.1 which temporarily fixed the issue and we disabled auto-updates.
I won’t be reaching out to your contact I’m afraid as the decision has been made to migrate to another SEO plugin. Unfortunately we lost confidence in your product.
