  • Or maybe your page.php is no different than your index.php… Did you edit the page.php template to eliminate the call for comments and other stuff you don’t want there?

    yep, my theme is all written from scratch so the page.php is just dropped in from kubrick at the moment. When I write a new page I can choose from two templates – Default and Archives (added that one sometime in the past, dunno how though). Should there be a “Page.php” in that list too?

    No, the Default should be… the default = page.php
    To use Kubrick files in other theme is not a good idea 🙂
    Save your index.php as page.php and edit/delete the template tags you don’t need.
