• When I search a post on google it only shows my home page. My home page is actually a static page, with links to posts and pages, I have a separate php file for each category. Could it be the static page that is doing this, or the separate php files? First I thought that it was the WP SEO plugin, because some people had that kind of trouble with it, so I uninstalled it. Now I’m using All in one SEO.

There is a lot I need to do to optimize my page but if the posts and the web shop aren’t searchable it’s rather pointless. So I need to fix this issue before I go further.

    my page is in japanese.

    http://www.myshica.com

this is a link to a post
    http://www.myshica.com/fragments/5719/

if I search for “myshica” and fragments/5719/

the only link that shows up is a
    whobis.com page.

I also have a google webmaster account, and google seems to index this blog post.

also if I do the search with yahoo.com
I get the link to the post.

but if I search with yahoo.co.jp (that seems like total copy of google or is it the other way around)
I get the same whobis.com page.

It’s clear that Im doing something google doesen’t like. And I’m wondering if it is something wordpress related or if it’s something I should take up in some google forum instead?

    Any guidance is most appreciated.

  • The page is crawlable and do not find any significant culprit. If the page is new then its obvious it will take some more time to appear in search results.
