I’ve been running it since beta on my personal site (production – bad boy!) and its been fine. I’ve installed it on all my sites now and not had any issues.
I can’t comment on whether it will work perfectly for your setup, but it seems stable enough for me.

I remembered one thing; I got also an update on my Theme -and clicked both updates at once…. could that maybe been the course for my trouble you think?…

Maybe. I’m guilty of this too, but try one update at a time.

It was working, a podcast was put up, and now nothing can be accessed. No WP, no admin page.

I’m so sick to death of WP taking everything offline if there is a problem with a plugin, so I can’t even get in to update anything.
Does anyone know how I can get in an fix this?
