My news sitemap is not generated

    Hi,

    There is a static file called sitemap-news.xml in your site root. It needs to be removed before the sitemap feed will become accessible.

    The file was created by the Google Sitemap Generator plugin but left there after deactivation. You’ll need to remove it manually with an FTP client or ask the other plugin developer for support.

    Hello,
    I connected with the FTP client, but couldn’t locate the static file sitemap-news.xml.

    I do not know how or where Google Sitemap Generator creates this file. Maybe it’s somewhere else like in your wp-content/uploads directory? If so, there’s probably also a redirect in your .htaccess …

    Is Google Sitemap Generator still installed? If so, deactivate and uninstall from the Plugins admin page (not via FTP!)

    Then upgrade to XML Sitemap & Google News feeds 4.6 and deactivate end reactivate the plugin.

    It works fine now !!

    I deleted all the files regarding Google Sitemap Generator and deactivated and reactivated XML Sitemap & Google News feeds plugin. And it works perfectly now.
