  • Yes, wordpress has plenty of themes and plugins available that can do pretty much everything you want. I just went through your blog and here are a few things i noticed so far:

    1) Use a friendly permalinks structure, go to the settings in your wordpress admin panel and select permalinks. Use something like – /%postname%/ – in the permalink options.

    2) Your header and the category structure below it is taking way to much of your top space. That is the most important space of a blog, “above the fold” – i would suggest you to use a small logo instead of the big header and place the category links on the sidebar.

    3) Try having social voting buttons instead of static social buttons on the post pages.

overall, you have a nice blog,
    keep it updated,
    cheers,

I would suggest spicing it up a bit with some more images, esp on the frontpage. Featured image thumbnails for each post may entice users to click and read your posts at a higher rate than currently. I do like the previous idea of a small logo in your header; another visual point of interest for your users. Nice site and content though, cheers!

Thanks for the feedback. I changed my theme and layout a little based on it. I agree about not enough content above the fold so hopefully that is a little better now.

    I’m going to keep tweaking…thanks!

Well Famdining since you’re pretty new on WP so as a new comer you just did an awesome job really. It is not important you have to become a boss asap!
