• So, for some reason, my WordPress admin bar was showing up when I searched up my website – even when I was logged out. It was showing up for others, too. I was given CSS coding to remove it, but now my menu and navbar are quite low. My theme is from Pipdig if that even matters.

    Can anyone please tell me how to fix it?
    My website page is: http://www.aliciabynature.co.uk

    Thank you!

    Are you referring to the display of the light purple bar at top of your website?
    What css did you add?

    If you need assistance with theme related issues (i.e. display of light purple navbar)
    Please contact the support team for your theme: https://support.pipdig.co/

    Yeah, I’m referriing to the purple display bar 🙂 Apologies if I’ve posted this question in the wrong place – I wasn’t sure if it was a WordPress issue or a theme issue!

    This was the CSS that I was told to add:

    html #wpadminbar {display: none;}
    html {margin: 0!important;}

    I’ll be sure to send them a message too!

    The display of items on your pages is controlled by the theme.

    Have you tried some troubleshooting with health check plugin to rule out plugin conflict:

    Hello Alicia,

    I tried removing your added CSS through the browser console, but it didn’t impact the Purple Navigation so that CSS is not disturbing the Layout.

    Is there any way you can guide us on how it should actually look, so we can help you to achieve that.

    Thanks.

    Please go to http://www.aliciabynature.co.uk/wp-admin/profile.php and untick the checkbox “Show Toolbar when viewing site” and save. It will solve the problem.
