The login for my website: tweeldeal.com, is currently directing to another site. I enter the URL "tweeldeal.com/wp-admin/admin.php" and it redirects itself to a wordpress.com site I created earlier to test wordpress so that I could get a grasp on the blogging aspect without purchasing a URL.

I accidently fiddled with something in the settings which redirected this login page to this wordpress.com site, but I cannot get back to the dashboard to change this back.

I have followed the instructions off of the WP Codex site for editing my wp-config.php file saved on my FTP server and searched through all of the other wp files looking for something about a URL or domain and I can't find anything.

  2. It looks like your site is hosted on wordpress.com.
This is the WordPress.ORG support forum, you can get support for WordPress.COM at http://en.support.wordpress.com/

I somehow managed to route my login address for my .org site to my login screen for my password protected .com site. I'm wondering how to undo this mistake.

Again, I believe I changed something in the settings, but I did it so quickly without thinking too much about it, that I don't remember exactly what section in the settings I redirected my admin site to.

Use any of the solutions on the following codex page. Note that you do not need access to the WordPress dashboard.

    Thank you!

    One of the options worked!
