# my locked widgets

 * havenT played with my widgets for few months but they were in working order. 
   upgraded WP to 3.5 (not sure if this played a role) but at same time wanted to
   edit a widget which is showing a youtube video that is no longer available. Entire
   widgets page is locked although i do get a 4arrow curser when i try to select
   one… but nothing can be added to panels, deleted from panels, or edited. Re-boot,
   no success. using firefox.

 * i an unable to place new widgets in any panels. Nor can i edit the existing widgets.
   i just activated twenty eleven theme as suggested and going thru the previous
   post to trouble shoot further.

 * i activated twenty eleven, deactivated all my plugins, emptied caches, reboot,
   reactivated my appropriate theme, but left all plugins deactivated… still everything
   was locked. walked away for several hours, and ??? widgets accessible ^^
 * so not sure what worked, but i was ready to downgrade and now i donT have to 
   ^^
