    Generally, having more than one set of Open Graph tags is a no-no, so I’d start with that. You can use the Facebook debugger (see the FAQ) to double check the health of your page(s).

    Here are the Open Graph tags I found on your random blogpost:

    <!-- Open Graph tags provided by Social Sharing Toolkit v2.1.2 -->
    		<meta property="og:locale" content="nl_NL"/>
    		<meta property="og:title" content="Stoere acquisitiemannen « Acquisitie"/>
    		<meta property="og:description" content="Verkoop meer!"/>
    		<meta property="og:url" content=""/>
    		<meta property="og:type" content="article"/>
    		<meta property="og:site_name" content=""/>
    		<meta property="og:image" content=""/>
    <!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin v1.4.7 - -->
    <title>Stoere acquisitiemannen « Acquisitie</title>
    <link rel="canonical" href="" />
    <meta property='og:locale' content='nl_NL'/>
    <meta property='og:type' content='article'/>
    <meta property='og:title' content='Stoere acquisitiemannen -'/>
    <meta property='og:url' content=''/>
    <meta property='og:site_name' content=''/>
    <meta property='og:image' content=''/>
    <!-- / Yoast WordPress SEO plugin. -->

    NGFB does not seem to be activated and/or installed. You might want to look into that. 😉

    Hi JS,

    Thank you so much for helping me out. I could uninstall the Social Sharing toolkit plugin, but I really need the Yoast SEO plugin.

    So I’m looking for a setup with the Yoast SEO plugin combined with social media share buttons that work 😉

    Could you tell me what to do?

    What would be the best approach?

    Sorry if this is a noob question, but really don’t know much about the Open Graph thing.

    I’ve tried deactivating Yoast SEO plugin, so ther would be only Open Graph tags for the Social sharing toolkit, but this dosn’t solve the sharing issue.

    I’ve tried deactivating both Yoast SEO and Social Sharing Toolkit an activating NextGEN Facebook Open Graph, so there’s only 1 type of Open Graph tags as you can see here now:

    Acquisitie fraude, scam of gewoon slechte communicatie?

    Unfortunately this still doesn’t fix the Linkedin problem. Send to Facebook is still fine.

    Thanks for helping out, really appreciate it.

    For some buttons, like Twitter for example, we have to give it a little more info. Most other sharing buttons only take the URL, and the social website comes back to the webpage to gather the relevant information (from the Open Graph tags and others). This is the case for LinkedIn. We cannot give it more than the URL (see for more info).

    Aside from minor errors, the Open Graph tags look good:

    You might want to remove this tag:

    <meta name="author" content="">

    So, to me, it looks like an issue with LinkedIn.

    BTW, you’re not alone, it seems:

    BTW, if you want to style those social buttons, take a look at the Other Notes tab for CSS / stylesheet info:
