There appears to be some issues with Jetpack comments affecting multiple sites at the moment.
For now, if you switch off the Comments module at Jetpack -> Settings in your Dashboard, people will be able to comment.
Thanks for your quick reply. I thought it was something to do with my theme, so this is actually reassuring to hear. I’m guessing once this issue is fixed, I can just reactivate the plugin? (Sorry to ask stupid questions – I’m new to this)

Yes, deactivating the Comments module uses your theme’s comments for instead, which will work fine for now.
I’d say maybe check back in a few hours by activating the module again to see if it’s been fixed. The issue on the Jetpack/WordPress.com end of things.
Brilliant! I will do.
Thanks again for clearing things up.
Yep, it’s working again. YAY!
Thanks so much!

I’m not sure if I have come to the right place, this is a ‘jetpack’ issue, but I wasn’t where to go. Anyway… I’ve just noticed that my comments section is not working. The box where my readers comments is showing up faulty, therefore people can’t comment. I havne’t made any theme changes, so i’m not sure why it is no longer working.
Any ideas what the problem might be? I have tried deactivating and reactivating it – that didn’t work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
