My homepage only shows code when looking from a mobile (6 posts)

For the last month I have had problems with my mobile site. When you access http://www.yorkshiretots.com from a laptop it looks fine but when accessed from a mobile code shows on my home page and other pages. I have disabled all my plug-ins but it hasn't fixed the problem.

The support for my theme say that it must be a plug in issue. In the past the home page has 'come back' on it's own. I have no idea what the problem could be or how to go about fixing it - I can leave my site without plugins. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

I should have written I can't leave my site without plugins (it didn't fix the problem anyway!)

There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting and is a process of elimination deliberately designed to locate the root cause as quickly as possible by first removing the most obvious and common culprits via a series of (often) temporary steps.

Do you want to locate and, hopefully, fix the problem on your site? If "yes", then please help us to help you and carry out the changes that we suggest.

Your theme & plugin settings are saved in your database and should be retained for future use.

I understand that and I really appreciate the help! I actually wrote the second message immediately after my first but it posted later and looked like a response to your post which it wasn't intended to be.

I deactivated all the plugins and it didn't help.
I reactivated them and switched to the default theme and found that code was showing up on BOTH my desktop and my mobile device. I don't know what this tells me about the problem?
So I have reactivated my original theme.
I am working on your third suggestion but I am stil trying to figure out how to do it!

It was a plugin that had to be deactivated by resetting the plugins folder. Thank you so much!
