My header aligns left before it aligns itself (7 posts)

On my site at http://www.chrisfawkes.net my header aligns left of the screen for several seconds and then realigns itself center as a page loads. Sometimes i need to refresh to have it realign.

It does not seem to do it in firefox but does in Safari and Chrome.

Anyone have an idea as to what could be causing this?

Sound like a javascript load issue. I'm using Chrome and couldn't duplicate the issue.
So, I took a look at the code output and found that you theme is trying to request a piece of js from the wrong location.

    `<script type="text/javascript" src="http://chrisfawkes.net/blog/wp-content/themes/photolounge/js/jquery-1.2.1.pack.js"></script>

    Is coming back 404

  3. You have a whole bunch of code errors that will cause layout glitches: [Invalid] Markup Validation of chrisfawkes.net - W3C Markup Validator. Scroll down in the validation report to see line numbers and source code.

The validator is a little greek to me. I see the code but would have no idea how to locate it without being told. Am i missing something.

Also i notice my pages are in there but setting up pages is automated is it not. Meaning i name a page and put my content in yet i am seeing this

    <li class="page_item page-item-1398">Contact
    <li class="page_item page-item-1080">About
    <li class="page_item page-item-2277">Price List
    <li class="page_item page-item-3879">blog
    <li class="page_item page-item-3630 current_page_item">Art Prints

which is stuff i obviously have no control over. Is that not a wordpress issue?

Is that not a wordpress issue?

    No - it's a theme/content issue.

  7. You've edited header.php, index.php and maybe other theme files and are missing tags, etc.

And you have javascript errors, too. Use Firebug with Firefox, or in Chrome or Safari or IE8, use the developer tools to see what's loading on your site.
