My gallery2 images stopped working

I had my Word Press working fine with Gallery 2 (using wp-gallery2 plugin). Then I decided to do two things. One, I downloaded a “solvent” plug-in to prevent new posts from going onto my main page if I didn’t want them to. I also changed my nickname from ‘admin’ to something else to “spruce things up”, which I’ve since switched back.

Afterward my login to Gallery2 wouldn’t work anymore and my thumbnails on WP (pics in posts AND sidebar image) and Gallery2 now show up as links to my pics in Gallery2. I fixed it so I can get back into Gallery 2, but my thumbnails still won’t show up in either WP or Gallery2 (they only show up as text links).

Can someone tell me what the problem might be or what more information might be needed to figure out this mystery of mine? I’d appreciate it.
