My flash file won't show, codes change ?!

  • Hi everybody,

    I am trying to post a flash file on my website, but it won’t play.
    All the codes have been tested, but it simply won’t show up ?!

    When I use the HTML mode in stead of the WYSIWYG, I can insert the following code:

    <object width="640" height="480" data="http://www.studio09.nl/kerst/MultiFLARExampleONLINE.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
    <param name="src" value="MultiFLARExampl.swf" />
    <embed src="http://www.studio09.nl/kerst/MultiFLARExampleONLINE.swf" width="640" height="480"></embed>
    </object>

    But when I save it and return to the page, or go to the WYSIWYG mode and return in the HTML mode … the code it changed ?!

    <object width="640" height="480" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="src" value="MultiFLARExampl.swf" /><embed width="640" height="480" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" src="MultiFLARExampl.swf" /></object>

    The source has been altered so it can’t find it … does anybody know how to fix this?

    Thanks!

  • Maybe this is automatically corrected because the box “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” is ticked on Settings > Write

    (not sure).
