• When a user send a form, the recipient gets an email with the site name and my email address in the From section in the header.

This means that when they reply to the email, I get the reply and not the actual sender.

I don’t understand because in the Mail section for the From field I have: [your-name] [text-932] <[your-email]>

This should show users first name, surname their email address as the sender in the Header.

Can you see what I am doing wrong?

Try deactivating all other plugins and switching to the default theme.

I can’t do that on a live site.

Should the above configuration work? Can I force it to show sender address?

I realised I had a development site for this website, which is almost an exact copy. So I de-activated everything and then re-activated one by one.

As soon as I de-activated everything, the forms worked correctly. But they continued to work and still work after all the plugins have been re-activated. It is now working on this test site. Whatever conflict there was has been eliminated. Very odd.

Before I start tinkering with the live site, do you have any ideas why this may have happened?
