    Hi there,

My hosting agent DreamHost all of a sudden disabled access to my domain “katherinemareepace.com” as it appeared that a huge volume of comment spam was originating from people leaving comments.

To resolve this problem, I tried to login to my wordpress console and disable all commenting options. However when I enter my usual admin access URL, I get a error 404 page not found.
    http://www.katherinemareepace.com/creative/wp-admin/

I wrote to Dreamhost asking them to temporarily reactivate my website so that I could login but they have replied
“We were unable to set up wordpress as requested at:
    http://www.katherinemareepace.com/creative/
The problem was directory /home/katherinemareepace/katherinemareepace.com/creative doesn’t exist! Unable to upgrade!

Could someone please help me in identifying how to best move forward as it now seems my wordpress directory no longer exists?!?

Could the problem potentially be because Dreamhost automatically updated my install of wordpress in December but my database tables were not updated?

Either way, I am now not sure how to access anything.

Your help and time is much appreciated. Thank you.

    Katherine.

Are you able to login to your site via FTP? If so, do you see the Creative directory?
