My Code Blocks Do Not Look Good

    I’m a developer and use wordpress to show code blocks. I have tried by the <pre> and [code language="python"] for my site http://joshjanzen.com/. However, the code wraps and does not make logical sense to the reader. Any suggestions on how to fix? Thank you!

    it seems that you are trying to use a shortcode which is only available for WordPress.com blogs.

    you will likely need to use a plugin to do the same in a WordPress.org site…

    thanks. tried the multiple plugins and same result. maybe I have a bigger issue. It appears on my site their is a large blank column between the left nav and the body. Can that easily be expanded so my code displays correctly?
