My categories are missing??

    They just now showed back up…what in the world just happened??

    mine have gone as well – links just dead now – I have not made any changes before the issues, what’s going on, anyone…?

    I’m experiencing the same problem with my categories. The dashboard says there are 7 categories, but when I click on the link to view them, none of them show up. The web page also says, “No Categories”. I’m using WP v2.6.2 (a new installation, no update).

    Also having a problem with the tags, which are still visible in the tag cloud on the footer of our page, but they’ve been detached from the posts. And in the admin, I can’t add them to the post again. When I click on “Save” the tags disappear.

    I see this happens quite a lot, but there aren’t any resolutions. Why is this happening? Is it part of the WP code?
