You can help the process along somewhat. Have you signed up to google webmaster tools (or bings version)?
Have you submitted a sitemap to these services?
No Ihavent signed up. The site is running for more than a month now. can you please suggest how do I sign up. appreciate your help as this is new to me.
just go to each site. You can find them just by searching google webmaster tools and bing webmaster tools
You just sign up for an account and follow the instructions.
You can have your site automatically create sitemaps with plugins like:

once you have the plugin running you can submit your sitemap file to google and bing, it helps them find your content
You will also need to prove you own each site when signing up, that is fairly easy. Each service will give you a line of code that you just add to your header.php file in your theme
