  • My blog looks fine in Mozilla Firefox, Chrome and Safari but not in Internet Explorer. I have looked at the other answers to the same questions but have not had any success after I run diagnostics on the page and make the changes.

    Thank you for any help.

  • Hello mwiscount,
You did not mention the url of your blog.
Check once the css part .

I’m sorry. I entered it in my profile so I thought you would be able to access it.

    My blog URL is:

Thank you so much for your quick reply!

I have an important conference next week and I would like to try to fix my IE problem with my blog before I leave on Sunday. Any help that you can give me is very much appreciated! 😉

The only problem i Saw with IE was with the main Header Image (above the menu)…
is that the only problem you have with IE ??

Yes. It’s like a whole page is inserted before the blog. And my blog roll and cluster map on the left hand side (everything under Twitter feed) will not load either. Any ideas how to fix it?

One way to get around it would be to install the Browser-Blocker plugin. It will allow you to block any version of IE and any version of virtually any browser that is giving you grief, and give your users a nice little splash screen asking them to upgrade their browser experience.

    Browser Blocker

I installed the Browser Block plug-in and it still did not fix the problem.

It states that there is a script running now on the page. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

My blog looks good in Chrome, Safari and Firefox but in Internet Explorer it does not load first blog and inserts an extra page at the beginning, and does not show my blog roll or cluster map on left hand page.

    Any other suggestions?

My WordPress version is 3.2.1 so it is compatible with this version of Browser Blocker.

The point with Browser Blocker, is to select different browsers that you would like to “block” from viewing your site, and refer them to other browsers that they can upgrade to, so if you select Internet explorer > 0 (greater than version 0) then all versions of Internet explorer would be blocked and asked to upgrade to a different browser.
