I wanted to change my blog’s domain but didn’t know how to do it correctly… So, to avoid messing anything up, I decided to just add WordPress (using Fantastico) to a second domain of mine. After all, my blog was still new and had no comments or posts yet so I knew I wouldn’t lose anything.

After I added WordPress to the second domain (3.0.1) and set up the new blog, I figured I’d go ahead and delete WordPress from the first domain I’d originally added it to (went back to Fantastico and clicked the “Remove” button next to the first domain)… Well, I obviously messed something up anyway because since then neither of my blogs work! I mean, I expected the first one to disappear (that’s what I was trying to do anyway) but not the second one!

When I go to my CPanel/Fantastico, it looks like it did in fact remove WordPress from the first domain as it’s no longer there; and it still shows the second/new domain as having WordPress. It’s just not working for some reason. When I type in the URL I get:

ERROR 404 – PAGE NOT FOUND
Oops! Looks like the page you’re looking for was moved or never existed. Make sure you typed the correct URL or followed a valid link.

BTW, I also noticed as I was looking at my files that my Public HTML folder disappeared as well.

    CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME???
