My account page set to ‘Shop’ rather than ‘My account’

    An example of this problem is seen in the fact that when I press the first of the 3 lower mobile buttons on the mobile site (with an avatar icon), it goes to Shop instead of my account.

    I would preferably like to remove this lower mobile menu altogether, but perhaps that’s a different story and not possible.

    SOLUTION: For anyone else out there who has this issue and was with WooCommerce, this website helped to show a solution.

    You can see there’s a drop-down menu next to the ‘My Account’ option. This was set to ‘Shop’. Simply enter ‘my’ and wait for the my accounts page option to show up. Then save changes.

    To get to that place, go to your WordPress dashboard, click ‘WooCommerce’ and ‘Settings’. Find the ‘Advanced’ tab (near top) and look for the Page Setup.

    The basket page also needed to be changed to cart in my case.
