 * Testing out the plugin for a new site … its excellent … but are there any plans
   to add a mute function for the videos?

 * YouTube/Vimeo do not provide this option on a parameter basis. You could manually
   use the JS api they provide to hack into that. Not in the scope for this plugin
   for now.
