I have configured the “block guest to buy” option.

    Hello @ciclocoppi ,

I noticed you have an “AJAX add to cart” button on your single product page, meaning that it’s not necessary to reload the page after you click on it.

Our “Guest” feature supports AJAX buttons but only the ones enabled from the “WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Enable AJAX add to cart buttons on archives” option displayed on the archive pages.

However, your AJAX button solution seems to be provided by some plugin or theme and not by WooCommerce itself and probably it’s not compatible with the “Guest” feature.

So can you please try to disable your “AJAX add to cart button” turning it into a normal “Add to cart” button?

Let me know if it worked after that 😉

If it does, let me know the plugin or theme that you’ve used to enable the AJAX feature that I can try to make it compatible with the “Guest” feature 😉

Greetigs @wpcodefactory and thanks for answer.

You were right. There was an option for using “AJAX add to cart” button by the theme I am using, which is OceanWP. Now it shows the alert message with the restriction.

    Thank you very much.

    Anytime,
    Glad to hear it!

In that case, please consider leaving a review if you are enjoying the plugin/support. It would be much appreciated 🙂

I’d like you to know that I just tried to make the “Guest” option compatible with the Ajax feature from the OceanWP theme and I wasn’t able to 🙁

It seems that their function to handle the AJAX add to cart is missing a filter called “woocommerce_cart_redirect_after_error” that can be used to display a notification when a product can’t be added to cart.
