We purchased the WP ecommerce checkout, for our site http://www.searchmanipulator.com/buy-now. We have had 2 different developers say that the client must login / register before being able to add something to the cart. We use authorize.net so our options are limited.
Is this true? I have never seen a checkout like this. Is there any way around this?
As far as I know it makes perfect sense to have the client register before making a purchase. If you don’t put in place a secure shopping cart then what is the purpose of security. Once a potential member registers with your site or online shop then you know who they are and whether they are legitimate or not.
