  • Okay, I’m hoping someone can tell me the best way to do this.

We have a main site. We want to create another site, with a completely different URL and theme. But we want all the SEO juice from the 2nd site to go to the first site. What’s the best way to do this?

  • Please note – by the link juice, I mean I want all the visits and links to the 2nd site to count for the 1st sites rankings…if possible.

That’s not Multisite, though you can use Multisite to run Multiple domains…

The best way is to make real, honest, links and stop trying to game the system 🙂

Well, Judgy, we are helping a non-profit build their site – at first, the fact that it’s part of our site is meant to help them. We’re a PR 4 site, so that should help get them some visitors. Then, we are hoping links to the non-profit from .edu and .gov sites might help us – I don’t think it’s wrong to help a growing non-profit for a few links.

Does anyone else have anything useful?

I’m not judging. You can actually negatively impact your SEO by cross linking your own sites too much. (Don’t believe me? Look at the screams about Panda.)

    Anyway. Make the links.

That’s all you have to do. Make the links and the ‘juice’ gets handed over. Using multisite, or not, doesn’t make a difference to this end.
