# Multisite Without Multsite

 * I was thinking about doing a multi-site setup on my current wordpress installation,
   but after reading an article here on WordPress of what to do before you set it
   up suggested that there may be a plugin that does what I’m looking for, namely
   create a multi-site setup (one with separate domain names for each site, and 
   different themes and such). Can anyone make a recommendation/suggestion?

 * Hi OscarGuy, I don’t know a “let’s create a Multisite set-up” plugin, it’s mainly
   some handwork. For mapping multiple domains to one Multisite, I use the [https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/)
   plugin.

 * Why shouldn’t I bump them when by the time I came on this morning, it had been
   buried I don’t know how many pages back. How are you supposed to get a response
   if no one sees your post.
 * I refer specifically to this page ([http://codex.wordpress.org/Before_You_Create_A_Network](http://codex.wordpress.org/Before_You_Create_A_Network))
   where it says “For example, if all you want is for different collections of web
   pages to look very different, then you can probably achieve what you want in 
   a single site by using a plugin to switch themes, templates, or stylesheets.”
   That’s more in line with what I’m wanting to do.
