Multisite with Mediatemple (gs) preview domain

    Hi all,

    I’m setting up a new website for an org with three campuses. I’ve installed multisite on Mediatemple’s (gs) service and am using their ‘preview domain’ feature to build the site while the old site is still live at a different host. It works fine for the base site (http://s157060.gridserver.com), but when I added a subdirectory for one of the campuses (http://s157060.gridserver.com/sc/) and then try to preview the site, I get an error that states “Error establishing a database connection”.

    So my question is whether anyone knows if it’s possible to build sites using subdirectories on Mediatemple’s “preview domain” feature?

    I’ve already contacted MT and they say they’re not WP developers and can’t help.
