    Call GoDaddy. They are very eager to help.

    I am new to multisites so my understanding is limited. But I am learning!

    It is possible, that’s what the tutorial showing. It’s just i don’t have enough experience to make it work 🙁 hope some advanced people make some reply.

    I don’t use GoDaddy but I know this. GoDaddy will only support subdomain multisite if you have a DEDICATED IP.

    Speaking from an experience user standpoint, setting this up on GoDaddy is harder than pretty much *anywhere* else.

    The wildcard support is needed for creating subdomains from wordpress panel right? if so the problem is not causing for wildcard support. What is the other reasons that can cause 403? is anything needed to be added in apache config?

    @andrea: thanks will check that..

    It’s a permissions error.

    Also, if you can get to the apache config…. you can have wildcards.

    What about using subdirectories for additional domains/sites?
    Everyone is talking only about subdomains.
    I made additional site in subdirecotry but I could not find tutorial how to configure domain and what should be additionally configured in WP.
