• Hello can you tell me how this plugin works on multisite?

For example, let’s say we install it on a network site. We want to search and replace tables only pertaining to that one network site. Can this plugin limit its search and replace that way?

What about search and replace for the entire network?

Is there a difference in how it is used, or how it can be used? Are there settings to be aware of?

I tried to look for this in an FAQ section but didn’t see anything.

    Thanks!

Note: I left this same inquiry on a similar plugin’s form as well: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/multisite-usage-4 (from posts months ago, it seems that plugin works on individual network sites only, and not network wide – I’m looking to see if there is a plugin that has both options).

Ok this replaces everything in the network and breaks everything. Not to be used for search and replace for one network site only.

It has no knowledge of other installs , so it should only find replace for the current site.

It most definitely scanned the entire database – not just tables relating to one installation, and replaced everything. It broke everything. Even forms had to be completely re-made. Widgets had to be re-created. I am 100% sure, at least in my case, that this happened. It affected two network sites, but didn’t seem to affect the main ‘parent’ site (but I could just not be noticing it right now).
