• I’m setting up a Multisite on Blue Host. Sigh.
    – Network setup with subdoamins, main site is yogapodcommunity7.com
    – Confirmed Mod Rewrite enabled
    – Install is in the Root of YogaPodCommunity7.com
    – Setup Wildcard Subdomain *.YogaPodCommunity7.com
    – Created new subdomain in WP, waco.yogapodcommunity7.com

    – New subdomain is listed in Network Admin/Sites/
    – New subdomain does not show up in My Sites drop down menu or list?
    – New subdomain does not show any of the Network Activated Themes or Plugins?
    – Do I need to set every Subdomain site created? Or, does a Wildcard cover what is created in WP?

  • This is how you need to create a network first to get multisite, https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network

Let me know if you tried the similar way and still facing the problem.

Yes, I followed those exact instructions. The Network appeared fine until I added first subdomain site. While the Subdomain site is listed under the Network Admin/Sites, it is not showing up under the My Sites drip down or list?
There is a wildcard subdomain in place.

sorry, I’m not sure if this is gonna help you definitely, but I can try an attempt.

See for multisite, you won’t need to add any subdomain separately in the network. However I don’t use blue host so don’t know the procedure exactly.

I’m using Hostgator and let me tell you how I did it for my website and it worked all fine for me.

Your hosting plan must need allow you to have subdomain (which is again so common anyway)
you won’t required to create any wildcard subdomain. simply create the subdomain while creating a network of after installing wordpress.

still if doesn’t work, please contact your hosting provider once.
