 * Hello all,
 * I have a multisite install and I want to add my sites under SSL. I have purchased
   a package which allowed me to get unlimited certificates *.domain.com and I want
   to use it with each of my domain names.
 * I have tried to install mod_ssl on my centos 7 server, but after that just stops
   working.
 * I’ve also researched about the Cloudflare possibility but still unsure which
   will be the best approach. I have found how to install SSL certificates on CentOs
   but not in a multisite and course of actions is not clear as well.
 * Thank you for your insights.
 * Eli.

 * Quick and dirty would be to install the CloudFlare plugin for the network but
   don’t network enable it. You’ll add each site to CloudFlare and enable it in
   each site you wish to use SSL on to set things up easily.
 * The only problem is you’ll need to go through extra steps to use SSL between
   the origin server and CloudFlare if you need or want that. For all practical
   purposes it will look to the rest of the world as though you are running https
   since CloudFlare proxied your individual site(s).
 * Of course, WordPress will still consider itself as http unless you go those ‘
   extra steps’.

 * I’ve tried CloudFlare, but my cloud server provider doesn’t support it.
 * Even I got unlimited wildcard certificates (*.domainname.com) still haven’t found
   the right trick to use my own certificates without crashing network.
 * So far, seems that the course of action is to install a regular wordpress site,
   enable SSL and then activate network; But still is not covering where additional
   domains will host their certificates and which file will call .cert and .key
   files.
 * Still, in research, no conclusion or actions are taken yet!
 * Thanks
