# Multisite + SMTP?

 * Perhaps it’s a problem with how my webserver is configured, but I recently changed
   the MX settings to use a different email solution and now I cannot get Wordfence
   to send it’s emails. I’ve been able to setup a SMTP plugin on my individual sites
   and that works fine, but the problem is on a Multisite, Wordfence doesn’t have
   access to that plugin; it defaults to the php send functionality.

 * Hi Kyle,
 * I don’t think this issue is directly related to Wordfence, I believe you should
   double check that the SMTP plugin you are using is WordPress Network compatible.
