[Resolved] Multisite problems – plugins not showing up more
I’m having some weird issues with a multisite network I set up a few weeks ago.
I logged in a couple of days ago and it looked the settings had been changed, and now some strange things are happening.
For example, I have installed a bunch of plugins in the Network Admin dashboard and made them available for the network, but they are not showing up on my main site on the network (the “parent” site, for want of the correct terminology).
Also the “parent” site used to give me access to all plugins, even ones that weren’t network enabled, which seemed right because i wanted to use them on the main site but not have sub-sites getting access to them.
Also when I created a new site as a test user after logging out as super admin, it then gave that test user access to the main site’s dashboard, even though they didn’t have permission to change anything. It added the test user as a user to both sites in the site list.
This is annoying as I now can’t use any installed plugins on any site, despite them being installed and network enabled.
