 * Hello, I need some assistance.
 * I received this work to do and I am having a lot of problems. I think this is
   a wp multisite installation, but I don’t have the option Network Setup in Tools.
   The wp-config.php file seems to have all the entries correct to allow for a multisite
   though. The htaccess also seems to be right.
 * And I have this two urls: [http://www.lizgarden.pt](http://www.lizgarden.pt)
   and new.lizgarden.pt
 * And I can only access wp admin in the new.lizgarden.pt
 * My main objective would be that the url [http://www.lizgarden.pt](http://www.lizgarden.pt)
   pointed to the new.lizgarden.pt

 * Hello Motard,
 * If your site is multisite already, there are no entries in the tools menu. These
   are only there when your site is ready to be turned into a multisite.
 * When the site is multisite, however, and you are network admin, you should see‘
   network admin’ as the first item in the “my sites” menu in the toolbar. If you
   do not see that, you probably didn’t get the correct permissions.
 * From what you write I tend to think that you are admin at new.lizgarden.pt but
   not a member of [http://www.lizgarden.pt](http://www.lizgarden.pt), which should
   be the main site of the multisite.
 * Another possibility is that you have 2 WordPress installs, one in the root and
   one in a folder named ‘new’, yet you then should see that folder via FTP.
 * As far as I’m aware this would make it easier to move the site from new to www,
   e.g. by [Pointing your home site’s URL to a subdirectory](http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory#Pointing_your_home_site.27s_URL_to_a_subdirectory).
   I’m not sure how you can move new to www when it’s in a multisite… Perhaps [this tutorial](https://www.doitwithwp.com/how-to-move-a-wordpress-multisite-site-to-a-standalone-installation/)
   may help with that.
 * But the first thing to do, if I’m guessing correctly, would be to retrieve access
   to the site. If you have access to phpMyAdmin you could [create a new user](http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-an-admin-user-to-the-wordpress-database-via-mysql/)
   and give it [network admin privileges](http://drawne.com/add-super-admin-wordpress-network/).
 * In the last link you can also find a way to do it with a function. This may be
   useful if you do not have access to phpMyAdmin.
 * I never tried any of these though.
    But I hope that helps. GL with it!

 * Hello Axel13.
 * Thank’s for your reply.
 * Before your reply, I figured that maybe I didn’t have the enough permissions.
   So, since I have access to the sites database I created a user with enough permissions,
   and now I can access wp-admin of the entire network.
 * And I confirm that this is a multisite install, that [http://www.lizgarden.pt](http://www.lizgarden.pt)
   is the main site and new.lizgarden.pt is a secondary site.
 * So now what I need to do is turn new.lizgarden.pt into the main site, (and changing
   it’s url to [http://www.lizgarden.pt](http://www.lizgarden.pt)), and turn the
   old main site into a secondary site (changing it’s url to something like old.
   lizgarden.pt).
 * Unfortunately I still don’t know how to do this, but I will keep looking.
 * Best regards,
    Motard
