 * Hi,
 * I want to, (eventually), move my site to WordPress, (multisite).
    But, as it
   is still in beta, I am only really playing with the various options available
   and making a mental note of the plugins I will need to create so suit my needs.
 * But an obvious problem I see with plugins is that they are all available to the
   users.
 * For example I have the plugin, “WordPress Beta Tester”, but I do not want that
   one available to all users.
 * I also want to ‘force’ some plugins on some users, (Akismet for example), I want
   them on for all users without the option for the users to remove it or change
   settings for it.
 * Is it currently possible to have that option?
    Would it be something worth looking
   into?
 * Regards,
 * FFMG

 * It is another plugin, but have a look at this:
    [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/role-scoper/)
   I never used it, but maybe it can do what you are looking for.

 * Always on: stick it in the mu-plugins folder. may not work for some plugins.
 * For not being able to change settings, you have to change settings on each blog
   anyway. So, if you want something different than the defaults in the plugin,
   you’ll have to edit the plugin. you can also edit it so the plugin’s options
   page is visible only to you, the super admin.

 * Ah, I did not know that, thanks

 * Hum, what I was trying to say is that I would like some plugins available to
   the users, (harmless ones like twitter and google ads), while hiding/controlling
   others that are more ‘super-admin’ related.

 * Thanks, I’ll have a look at it.
