Support » Networking WordPress » Multisite on blue host dashboards not working

  • I have blue host and installed a multisite. The install seemed to go very well, I followed all instructions accordingly. The network admin appears and everything seemed to work correctly until I created a site (xyz.domain.com) and when navigating to the dashboard for the site created it gives me a 500 internal server error. I have double checked the .htaccess file and everything seems to be correct with what was generated. I tried to see if it was a problem with the adress domain ( changing xyz.domain.com to domain.com/xyz ) but I then get a 404 error page. I tried that method after reading forums that said blue host may have read the mulitiste domain that way instead of xyz.domain.com. I am really very confused here and I know blue host doesn’t have a very good clue as to what is happening here. PLEASE HELP

As previously mentioned, that’s as expected. Don’t change it around 🙂

Is there an actual folder called xyz? If so, you need to delete it.

Also what happens if you go to totallyfakesubdomain.example.com ?
