    Hi,

I am new to WordPress and website development.
I have a multisite using subdomains on a localhost working great,
    IE operations.com, inbound.operations.com, outbound.operations.com

The problem I have is when trying to access any site from a computer on my LAN.

I did have it working on a single site install, but decided to redesign from scratch as a multisite (no migration)

On the computer when I try to access the servers up it redirects me to the wp-login page which fails to open.

All pages, logins and backend of all subdomains work great on the server with the modified hosts file.

I think it’s a redirect problem but have no idea where to start looking (pinging the webserver works fine, and single site also worked on LAN)

    Cheers for any help
    Ike

My Hosts file on the server has
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    127.0.0.1 operations.com
    127.0.0.1 inbound.operations.com
    Etc…

On the single site install I could access the webpage on the sever through local host/WordPress and on a computer on the LAN through 192.168.137.1/WordPress

When I try to access the operations.com on the LAN computer now through 192.168.137.1 with 192.168.137.1 glfserver.com in its hosts file it all works good.
But if i try to access outbound.operations.com it redirects to operations.com/wp-signup.php?new=192.268.237.1 but it cannot access it…

Problem solved by restarting windows…some reason the hosts file changes weren’t being processed….
