Support » Networking WordPress » Multisite Non Admins can see everyones sites “My Sites”

  • I am having a huge issue. I have been deleting some plugins to lighten the load of my WordPress Multisite.

The problem I am having is that all of a sudden, every user that has their own personal dashboard setup from our sub directories can now see every website created by every user when they hover over “My Sites”

Each user, including myself should only see the Admin site, and the personal sites they create.

And that is how it was. But now you can see every site. You cannot edit or enter their dashboard, but you can view their sites.

Is there any fix for this..? PLEASE HELP! 🙂

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been looking and researching for the last 2 days.

    Thank you in advance.

  • First, make sure none of the users are Super Admins. This is easy to do from the Network Users screen (My Sites > Network Admin > Users). Then remove users from any site they aren’t supposed to see. It’s a lot of manual, site-by-site work but the only other option is to delete everyone and re-add them back to only the sites they are supposed to see.
