Multisite-Network and Subdomain

Hi, I have set up a Multisite network, the main-blog is on example.com in English. Example.com is an add-on-domain and in the directory /public_html/example. I have registered two sub-domains, de.example.com and made for each domain its own directory in /public_html/example/de and /public_html/example/es. If I’m looking up the Sub-domains I can get a login-screen from WordPress or a 403 Page but I can’t see the website. In the both folders “de” and “es” is nothing in there, they are empty, I thought by setting up a Network, all will be setup. Do I have to install WordPress and the Theme as well there for each subdomain separately? The network admin-panel works though.
