MultiSite Media Files individual Super Admins

    Hi All,

    We converted our site to MultiSite because of the client’s change in business plan. Everything seems to working as planned except one item.

    When we converted the site we had two admins. We are both super admins. However, when I login as the one super admin and look at the media folder, I only see the media files I have uploaded. The same happens with the other Super Admin, they can only see the files they uploaded and none of mine are visible.

    Is this the default behavior?

    If it is, can it be changed? Is there a setting somewhere I’m missing?

    Is this a problem with our install?

    This is not default behavior.

    Please confirm that you are uploading media files to the same sites. Media files are stored by site in multisite.

    In FTP, the main site in wp-content/uploads/{normal year based directories}, and for subsites: wp-content/uploads/sites/{siteID}/{normal year based directories}.

    In dashboards, only files uploaded to each specific site will be available in that site.
