Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Multisite Mapped Domains Permissions Issue wp-cache-config

  • I am using a sub-domain multisite install with domain mapping.

    Last week I upgraded WP to latest version and WP Super Cache 1.6.1.

    After making this update I am getting the permissions error on all sites with a mapped domain for wp-cache-config.php and the delete cache button is greyed out. However, if I access the site using the subdomain I don’t get the error and I am able to delete cache but I am not certain if it is deleting the mapped domains cache.

    I noted the changelog for 1.6.2 indicates “Write directly to the config file to avoid permission problems with wp-content.” However, I updated to 1.6.2 today and this did not resolve the issue with mapped domains.

    Sorry this is a late reply. Have you upgraded to 1.6.2, that will fix the problem with the config file.

    @donncha

    I updated to 1.6.2 before posting my last as the changelog indicated, “Write directly to the config file to avoid permission problems with wp-content.”

    However, this did not resolve the issue with mapped domains.

    Again, when accessing the sites via the sub-domain there is no issue. When accessing the sites via their mapped domain the issue exists.

    Thanks,
    Pat
