# Multisite leads to internal server error?

 * Hey guys,
 * I created a new subdomain via my cPanel, and followed the instructions to create
   a multisite listed here: [https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/](https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/ultimate-guide-multisite/)
 * I was able to create the multisite admin dashboard just fine, but when I added
   my desired new site on my subdomain, it said it was created – however when I 
   visit the new subdomain page/admin panel I get the following error:
 *     ```
       Internal Server Error
   
       The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
   
       Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@sub.domain.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
   
       More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
   
       Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
       ```

 * I’m also experiencing issues with disappering pages. On the direct path it dissapears,
   but when using the original sitemap I can access the subsites.

 * You’ll want to look at your server’s error logs to get a detailed description
   of exactly what caused the error. If you don’t know how to do this, you’ll want
   to ask your webhost.
