Already several days trying to solve a problem with WordPress and I have not been able to fix it, I hope you can help me.
I have 1 pack consists of 1 domain and 1 hosting. On the other hand , I have 1 domain in a different company.
The pack has joomla in the root directory.
The other domain, I pointed to the pack hosting through the dns. I installed WordPress in a subfolder called ” wordpress” . ( http://www.joomladomain.com / wordpress ) .
As I said , I’ve pointed to that subfolder , and I can access to the new domain , http://www.wordpressdomain.com displayed correctly .
I was very happy because it took me a while to get it , but I did. The problem is that I did not realize that something were wrong.
What have I done wrong? The links are working but the images or any other file shows the path of the main domain.
I have read about editing the file ” index.php ” from wordpress and put it in the root directory, but there is already the ” index.php ” from Joomla, so I do not think it’s possible .
I’ve also been looking at the plugin “WordPress MU Domain Mapping” , but I think what it does is what I’ve done with the DNS , or it could work ?
Do you know if it can be done somehow ? Do I have to use a different hosting for wordpress ?
Thanks for your time and your help .
