    I’m aware that the ‘Agency’ paid version supports multisite, but does
   the free version work also (with its limitations)? Also does the ‘Agency’ version
   work independently on each multisite subdomain?

 * Yes you can use the free version on WordPress multisite, it will have the same
   limitations as on a single site.

 * Yes it does, all multi sites have their own webinars and settings.
