Support » Plugin: ActivityPub » Multisite installation creates only one AP feed

  • Hello Matthias and everyone who might be listening. 🙂

First of all, great thanks for this plugin. It looks very promising, although I have not yet had an opportunity to fully test it.

Hence comes the question. I have a multisite installation on WP 4.9.10. This was done when I didn’t find any acceptable ways to build a multilingual site. Thus, I have two identical websites in two different languages. The software itself is in root directory.

Primary site (in my native language) is loaded by default as the domain root. Second site (in English) is in virtual subdomain.

The plugin is activated for the network. The main site can be searched for on Mastodon and can be followed. However, the second site cannot be found. In the second site’s “Followers” menu the subscribers to the primary site are visible.

Is there a way to make sites on a multisite installation independent? So that I have two Mastodon “accounts”, separate Followers lists for each etc.

If that’s not possible yet, is there at least a way to ignore the main site and stream the second (subdomain) site into the Fediverse?

Thank you in advance for your response!
